All lessons are 90 minutes as standard - no confusing 50 minute slots or "double lesson" pricing. Just simple, consistent sessions so you always know exactly what you're getting. My pricing reflects an ongoing commitment to quality, integrity, and professionalism.

PAY AS YOU DRIVE

£48 per hour (90 minutes = £72)

BLOCK BOOKINGS (ANY PREPAID BLOCK BOOKING OF SIX OR MORE HOURS)

£46 per hour

£276 - six hours (4 x 90 minute lessons), £414 - nine hours (6 x 90 minute lessons), £552 - twelve hours (8 x 90 minute lessons)

TEST DAY

Typically* £96 - equivalent to a two hour lesson (including pick up, pre-test drive, use of car for test, debrief and drop off). Additional charges may apply for test centres other than Chester due to distance and travel time (for example an Upton test will be 2.5 hours = £115). For weekend and bank holiday tests this will be charged at £50 per hour (typically two hours for Chester tests).

Please note: I will only accept test bookings for Chester, Upton (Wirral) and Wallasey DVSA driving test centres. 

PASS PLUS (six hours covering town and country driving, motorway and dual carriageway, adverse weather conditions and night driving)

£276 (taken as 3 x 2 hour or 2 x 3 hour lessons one of which must include a night driving element). Full payment is required in advance.

MOTORWAY OR REFRESHER LESSON (minimum 2 hours)

£50 per hour

Your theory test certificate remains valid for two years. If you have not passed your test in this time, you will need to resit the test and pay again.

BOOK YOUR PRACTICAL TEST (£62/£75 weekends)

You can only book this after passing your theory test. Please speak to your instructor before booking your test. From 12 May 2026 it will be unlawful for your instructor or any third party (apps/bots/resellers) to book or manage your driving test, and you will only be able to make TWO changes to your driving test booking (from 31 March 2026).
