Hi, I’m Kev, a driving instructor based in Ellesmere Port.
I’ve been teaching since 2018, helping learners across Wirral, Ellesmere Port and Chester pass their test and become confident, safe drivers for life.
Before becoming a driving instructor, I worked in social care supporting adults with learning disabilities and mental health challenges. That experience shapes how I teach today — with patience, understanding, and a focus on what works best for you.
I keep lessons calm, structured and easy to understand. No pressure, no rushing. Just clear guidance, steady progress, and support every step of the way.
As well as my professional experience, I also have personal experience of ADHD and supporting a neurodivergent child, which helps me understand how different people learn and process things in their own way.
I hold the Award in Education and Training (AET) and I’m a qualified Mental Health First Aider, which helps me support learners who may feel anxious or lack confidence.
In 2024, I was highly commended in the Get Britain Driving Awards, finishing second in the North West, and I’ve also been shortlisted (final 40 in the UK) for the last three years for Instructor of the Year at the GoRoadie Awards.
Outside of lessons, I’m into football (Stockport County), music, festivals and making the most of the outdoors with a new-found passion for hiking.
